My name is Nienke Reuvers and I have been working as a general practitioner in the Haarlem region and surroundings since 2016. Before my medical studies at the University of Amsterdam I worked as a midwife and later I worked as a physician assistant in the gynaecology department in the Onze Lieve Vrouwe Gasthuis in Amsterdam. In addition to my work as a general practitioner, I enjoy doing administrative work and thinking about the future of general practice medicine in a broader sense. It is with great enthusiasm that I now start my own GP practice with Eveline van Zweeden. This way I can offer general practitioner care in a way that suits me and where the quality of care comes first. I am convinced that this leads to more job satisfaction and better patient care.
Eveline van Zweeden
My name is Eveline van Zweeden. I’ve studied medicine at the University of Amsterdam after which I’ve been working as a physician assistant at the deparment for child- and adolescentpsychiatry in The Hague. I decided to become a general practitioner, again at the University of Amsterdam, because I’ve noticed that general practice is where my heart is: the breadth of the profession, the diversity of patients, and the story behind a complaint – that is what I’m most interested in and in which I think I can play a positive role. After working in GP practices in the region of Haarlem and Heemstede for the past five years, it is now time to start my own GP practice. In this practice, together with my colleague, I want to provide the care in a way that I find important: on a small scale and with direct contact with your GP.
